Slughounds are creatures that can be domesticated to hunt Slugs. They first appeared in the episode Endangered Species. Two famous hounds belong to Gerhard Stocker and are specially trained to catch Slugs. They are similar to dogs, except they can climb trees and they have razor sharp teeth and claws.
Slug Hounds are very loyal animals, although vicious. They can be very useful in hunting slugs.
