Vitalis Crystals were a rare crystal formerly used as an energy source in SlugTerra. However, it was mined to extinction, but one existed in The Scrap Heap in Deep Storage in mint condition (excellent condition) which the Shane Gang obtained too create a Double Barrel that can do a Fusion Shot. It is possible that Shanai the "Unbeatable Master" used one for her Fusion Shot.
Redhook uses one of them to build the Double Barrel upgrade for Eli's blaster. The crystal is necessary to synchronize the Slug Energy of both Slugs used for a Fusion Shot. It also provides the energy which enables the blaster to shoot two slugs at once. That's why Eli's blaster had to recharge before going Double Barrel again.

- It was previously used in the production of air purifiers. Eli and the rest of the Shane Gang found one in The Scrap Heap that they and Redhook used to make Eli's fusion blaster.
